The first time I came to Boracay on May of 2003, there were less establishments, less constructions and the boat will take you direct to the stations and it's less hassles but now it's the opposite, nonetheless I had fun. The weather was good to think it's July, cloudy & rainy season and the locals are nice. My advice for travelers esp mga kababayan ko when you go to Boracay just pack light and don't be a spender if you don't have much cash.
