Travelling by bus in Philippines is such a pain in the ass (literally), traffic, air pollution (esp Metro Manila)... haay naku po. If you're taking ordinary aircon bus like me from Manila to South Luzon particularly Quezon & Bicol and to North Luzon (Alaminos, Baguio, Benguet, La Union, Ilocos province) you would agree... well I'm a budget-traveller and not complaining, just wish I have my own car. LOL. I set my alarm 5:30am but my bff was earlier and her text woke me up. I'm already packed and ready to go, hate packing in a rush. Me and two other friends met up with Page at Alabang Festival Mall. We took a bus from there and left at 7am, I wasn't much excited but was looking forward to what's going to see in Lucban since it's not Festival season or the so-called "Pahiyas sa Quezon". I was thinking it will only take 3hrs to get there and I was wrong. I asked my friend, "Where are we now? Are we heading to Bicol?" haaay, I went back to sleep. Then, finally we arrived at the Lucban Bus terminal at round 11:00am.
Lucban Longganisa
It was noon time and we took a break every 20 steps to catch breath and recharged. If you come here please bring water with you and please don't throw empty bottles anywhere you like it because some people do and it's sad and disappointing. Wear proper clothes, no short shorts & short skirts. The place is beautiful, kudos to the locals maintaining the sanctuary.
Batangueno
Me and my friends have decided to take a rest because if not we might catch heat stroke. While resting, Lolo stopped by for a rest too, he's in his 80's +. So we have little conversations with Lolo... He's from Batangas and he asked where were from, if we're single or married. He give some tips about relationship... he said "don't marry a man who's gambler, womanizer, alcoholic" and "Man who truly loves you doesn't hurt you." I wanted to ask Lolo how he maintained his flawless skin but our conversation was cut short because he thought his family might be looking for him.
Prayer
It's an opportunity to pray and thank our Lord Jesus for all he's done and doing for us. None can surpass God's steadfast love and faithfulness to us.
We had our lunch at Palaisdaan restaurant, we ordered Grilled Tilapia, Pork Sisig, Sinigang na Sugpo and Rice. Our bill: Php 680.00 for 4. oh di ba, ang mura! heheh
