Never thought the band, the original members, would be reunited after they disbanded in 2002. I was a 2nd year college student when I heard of their hit song "To Be With You". It was in the 90's the generation where I truly enjoyed my youth, have so many fond memories, the trends were Long Hair, Levi's Straight-cut & Bootleg pants, branded shirts, shoes, watches, bags & belts. No laptops/netbooks, just a cool binder with a hot cover cut out from any fashion magazines. No korean pop music, or F4 wannabes, no internet cafe for gamers, no ipods, ipod touch, &/or mp3 and most esp no PIRATED CD'S. No spa's, no salon that offers hair-straightening, hair rebond, glutathione, injectibles, etc and no starbucks back then, no common cafe, just a kitchenette ni "aling Maria", "banangs", tindahan ni Aling Nena, Lusing, at Turo-Turo. Those were the most common hangout places or "tambayans". The most common night spots those days were Discos where they played pop, new wave & 90's hiphop and the Pinoy Rock bands that before they became renowned artists, they played or used to play in bars & restau & small bars like The Dawn, Wolfgang, Eraserheads, Rivermaya, After Image, Introvoys, Rizal Underground, Teeth, Yano, Grin Department, Siakol and many others. The latter may not be that famous as eheads but hey their songs are timeless.
Anyways, back to Mr. Big, I forgot it's about their recent concert in Araneta.. they are so damn awesome talented individuals that joined together. Do you know how old they are now? Well Paul Gilbert is the youngest and Billy is i think the oldest but gosh! it hardly shows on stage, they rock hard, still got that charisma and stage appeal. :D You can check out my videos from the concert here and I am biased with Paul Gilbert well, he's my crush and I swear when they come back as Eric said during the concert, I will get the front row seat. Can't wait for them to come back!
Gotta see them, life is about pursuing happiness! hahah!
